Install the valve with welded ends.
Hint!
Welding method: We recommend using the automatic orbital welding
method. All welding work should only be performed by certified
welders or machine operators (orbital welders).
6.6 Pneumatic connections
6.6.1 Air requirement
The air requirement depends on the type of actuator fitted. The following tables
show guideline values at an air pressure supply of 6 bar per valve size and the
corresponding actuator size used as a standard.

6.6.2 Establishing Hose Connections
To ensure reliable operation, the compressed air hoses must be cut exactly
square.
Tools required:

A hose cutter
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Shut off the compressed air supply.
2. Use the hose cutter to cut the pneumatic hoses square.
3. Establish the hose connections in accordance with the hose connection
diagram, see and .
4. Push the air hose into the air connector on the control top.
5. Re-open the compressed air supply.
