Transport and storage
4.1
Particular hazards
● Projecting sharp edges may cause cuts.
● If parts are stacked too high, the stack can become unstable and collapse.
● The highly inflammable packaging material represents a fire hazard - naked
lights and smoking are prohibited.
4.2
Storage conditions
Attention!
Danger of corrosion!
Dissimilar metals or metal compounds react with an electrically-conductive
liquid (electrolyte).
► Do not store stainless steel together with steel.
● Temperature at which the electrical components (transceiver,...) are to be
stored
-25 to +70 degrees Celsius
When storing the goods supplied, the location must provide protection against:
● Humidity
● External damage (bumps, knocks, rodents and insects, . . . )
● direct sunlight

Transport equipment
Only move the packing unit (pallet) using a low-lift platform truck or suitable device.

● Transporting the product to the assembly/installation or storage site
● Unpacking
Checking the delivery
Check the goods supplied against the packing list enclosed for completeness and
damage.
4.5
Disposing of packaging material
After unpacking, the packing material must be handled properly and disposed of
carefully in accordance with current local regulations on waste disposal and
recycling.
