Cooling System

5-12-1

General Information

The Vivid™ S60/Vivid™ S70 system has 3 fans for system cooling:

•

Back End Processor Fan

- located at the rear of the electronic cabinet.

•

Front End Fan

- located on the metal box of the TRX32 Boards (on the cFE).

•

AC Distribution Box Fan

- located on the side of the AC Distribution Box.

All fans are controlled and have variable speed.

The cooling requirement for the Vivid™ S60N/Vivid™ S70N ultrasound scanner with monitor and on
board peripherals, is up to 2000 BTU/h. This figure does not include cooling needed for lights, people,
or other equipment in the room.

NOTE:

Each person in the room places an additional 300 BTU/h demand on the cooling system.
