Vector Loop
Shows four main sections:
• Demographics and Measurements
Patient demographics (name, ID, age or date of birth,
etc.) and basic measurements (vent rate, PR interval,
etc.) are in the report. Interpretation is not in the report.
• Median waveforms
The X, Y and Z medians are printed at the selected gain,
but twice the speed. For a standard 10 mm/mV and 25
mm/s selection, the medians print at 10 mm/mV and 50
mm/s.
• Loops
This is the projection of the cardiac vector on to the
horizontal, frontal, and sagittal planes. There are four
charts for each plane showing the entire cardiac cycle
at the selected gain.
The gain can be selected from 20 mm/mv, 40 mm/mV,
80 mm/V, or 160 mm/mV. Each chart uses a dot to show
the position of the vector every 2 ms. A tail is attached
to each dot to more clearly outline each loop. The length
of the tail is related to the rate of change of the vector
at that point in time. A marker is put every 10 ms as an
aid to count time around the loop.
• Legend
The legend is used only for the loop charts. It contains
the gains for each and a scale chart. The scale shows
how many mV are in 20 mm along the axes of each
chart.
