electrodes or lead wires do not come in contact with other
conductive parts, including earth.
This would cancel the protection provided by the isolated
signal input.
6. Verify the leads are all connected and working properly.

module to review connection
quality before beginning the ECG. For more information, refer to
Applying the Electrodes
CAUTION
PROPER LEADWIRE CONNECTION — Improper
connection will cause inaccuracies in the ECG.
Trace each individual leadwire from its acquisition
module label to the colored connector and then to the
proper electrode to ensure that it is matched to the correct
label location.
