22. Access the Calculators tab in Calibration Tools and
enter the following in the Source-Detector Distance
Calculator:
width1: enter line length of D1
width2: enter line length of D2
mag. dist.: enter the distance the tool was moved back
(i.e. 100mm).
23. Press the Update button. The system provides the
Source-Detector distance.
Make note of this value (should be approximately 250) in the Worksheet.
7.2.10 Edit Calibration Settings
1. Access Calibration Tools and click the Calib. Settings tab.
2. Click File and choose Read Registry Values from the drop-down list.
3. Using the Worksheet, enter the Source-Detector distance in the Detector Position field three
times for each binning mode (1x1, 2x2, 4x4), separating each with a space (e.g. 249.74 249.74
249.74). See topic 7.2.9, step 23.
4. Complete the Detector Spacing field with the detector spacing value (include nine decimal
places (e.g. 0.023474178). See topic 7.2.3, step 12.
5. Complete the Centres of Rotation fields as follows (see topic 7.2.8, step 37):
Centre of Rotation1: enter the Centre of Rotation as determined during the Centre the Stage
procedure
Centre of Rotation2: enter ½ of the Centre of Rotation value
Centre of Rotation4: enter ¼ of the Centre of Rotation value.
6. Complete the Central Slices fields as follows (see topic 7.2.6, step 12):
Central Slice1: enter the Central Slice value
Central Slice2: enter ½ the Central Slice value
Central Slice4: enter ¼ the Central Slice value
7. Complete the Serial Numbers fields as follows:
Detector: enter the new detector’s serial number (e.g. 01872)
