7.2.5 Create Transform2 & Transform4 Files
1. Access Calibration Tools and click the Transform tab.
2. Check the values of the following fields:
Example VFF File: D:\calib\corrected_grid.vff
Source/Targets File: C:\translations
Tilt values: (should reflect the same tilt angle used when creating the
Transform1 file)
Acquired Image bin Mode: 1x1
3. Change the following field:
Transform bin Mode:2x2
Note: The Acquired Image bin Mode field remains 1x1.
4. Press the Create D:\Transform2 and D:\Transform2.dat button. The Transform2 file is created.
5. Return to the Transform bin Mode field and choose 4x4 from the drop-down menu.
Note: The Acquired Image bin Mode field remains 1x1.
6. Press the Create D:\Transform4 and D:\Transform4.dat button. The Transform4 file is created.
7.2.6 Calculate Central Slice of X-Ray Source
This procedure calculates the Central Slice of the X-ray. With the X,Y Centring Ball tool still
mounted and the system warmed up:
1. Move the stage back toward the detector using the X-Ray and Motor Controller .
2. Elevate and rotate the tool until both bebes appear in the
centre of the screen in
Fluoro .
3. Capture the image and name it CS1 .
4. Move the tool 120mm toward the X-Ray Source and capture
an image. Name the image
CS2 .
5. Correct the CS1 image, unwarp it and load it into MicroView .
Determine the y coordinates of both bebes using the Region
Grow tool in
MicroView .
6. Make note of the CS1 file’s two y coordinates in the Worksheet.
7. Correct the CS2 image, unwarp it and load it into MicroView . Determine the y coordinates of
both bebes.
