5.4 LEDs
5.4.1
BIT LEDs
The
GBX24
has
a
red
BIT
Fail
LED
and
a
green
BIT
Pass
LED.
When
the
board
is
powered
on,
the
BIT
Fail
LED
is
activated
by
hardware,
and
remains
lit
until
the
embedded
processor
boots
up
and
takes
control
of
it.
Once
BIT
has
begun
its
preliminary
tests,
the
COM1
serial
port
starts
reporting
the
status
of
BIT.
On
finishing,
if
BIT
fails,
then
the
BIT
Fail
LED
remains
lit.
However,
if
BIT
passes,
the
BIT
Fail
LED
is
extinguished
and
the
BIT
Pass
LED
is
illuminated.
For
more
details
of
BIT
software
functionality,
see
the
GBX24
BIT
manual.

NOTE
During BIT, only the power and BIT LEDs are meaningful.
Once BIT completes, the BIT LEDs keep their states until a board reboot occurs.
