Appendix L - Chemical Compatibility
Chemical compatibility to the Everest Ca-Zoom 6.2 system’s ability to come into contact with
various liquid substances and not be damaged. There are far too many different liquids in
the industrial environment for GE Inspection Technologies to test each one, so customers must
determine for themselves if the Everest Ca-Zoom 6.2 system is compatible with their specific
chemicals. However, GE Inspection Technologies has tested the Everest Ca-Zoom 6.2 system to
several of the more common substances and reported the results in the hope that it might be
of assistance. Whatever the liquid, duration of exposure should be minimized and the Everest
Ca-Zoom 6.2 system cleaned after each use before storage. See “
Maintenance
” section for
cleaning instructions.
