Calibration Procedures (CH1): TC mV (measure)
Note:
When recalibrating ‘measure’ functions for this
range, any adjustment will affect the corresponding
source function calibration. The source function
must, therefore, be re-calibrated after adjusting the
measure function.
Note:
To ensure correct calibration, use copper leads and
copper connectors when connecting the applicable
calibration equipment to DPI620G–IS. This
minimises thermo-electric effects.
Perform the calibration as follows:
1. Connect the applicable calibration equipment specified
for example see
Section 2.12
).
2. Let the equipment get to a stable temperature
(minimum: 5 minutes since the last power on).
3. Use the calibration menu (Ref:
Section 10.2
) to do a
three-point calibration (-10 mV, Zero and 100 mV) for
the measure function
4. Check the calibration is correct:
• Select the applicable TC mV (measure) function (ref.
Section 2.12
).
• Apply the values applicable to the calibration (ref.
:
TC mV (measure): -10, 0 (short circuit)
10, 25, 50, 100
• Check the error is within the specified limits (ref:
).
