Installing Film Digitizer SCSI Software

Section 1: Introduction

This job card outlines installation and set-up of the software for a film digitizer as a SCSI device.

Section 2: Items Required

Centricity RA600 (RadWorks 6.0) CD

Section 3: Prerequisites

u

Ensure that the RA600 workstation has been installed with both hardware and software
configured to GE specification. The RadWorks Acquisition module must be installed as part of
the RA600 (RadWorks 6.0) application.

u

Ensure that proper SCSI ID has been set on the device interface card, if necessary. Refer to
manufacturer’s documentation for details.

Section 4: Procedure

1.

Power up the RA600 workstation and, from the Windows 2000 desktop, log in as the

Administrator

(need administrator privliges to load software).

2.

Click

Start > Settings> Control Panel > Add/Remove Software

.

3.

Select the RadWorks 6.0 program and click the

Change

button.

4.

Click

Next

in the Welcome window of the RadWorks Setup wizard.
