Installation
17. Connect the cable between JJ6 6 (6) on the Beam Con-
trol Unit and JJB B1 1 (7) on the High Voltage Unit.
18. Connect cable JJ3 3 (4) and JJ4 4 (5) in the Beam Control
Unit.
19. Slide off the protection cover from the end of cable JJ2 2.

Be careful not to touch the end points of the cable. If it should happen, clean the ends with the al-
cohol solvent used for other parts of the machine.
20. Ground the JJ2 2 cable ends against the Beam Control
Unit rear plate.
21. Connect cable JJ2 2 (3) to the Beam Control Unit. Note
the guide groove.
J2 cable
22. Connect cable JJ2 2 by turning the part marked as A A.

Do not turn B B. If you accidentally turn B, ensure that all three parts are aligned (C).
23. Connect cable JJ1 1 (2) to the High Voltage Unit.
24. Connect the lliin ne e iin np pu utt.
25. Switch on the fuses (1) for:

Check the designation on the inside of the Control
Cabinet side panel (2).
