Setting Up the External
Totalizer Reset Switch
The
GATE OPTION
enables you to configure an external reset switch
that can reset totals by activating a switch that is remotely located
from the electronics. To connect an external reset switch, refer to
Wiring the External Totalizer Reset Switch
on page 1-12.
IMPORTANT:
The hardware for the switch is user-supplied. GE
Infrastructure Sensing supplies only the software to
configure the switch and test points to connect the
switch.

At the
GATE OPTION
prompt, press [
X
] to select one of the
following and press
[ENTER]
.
•
RESET
- the meter resets totals to zero for both channels and
then immediately begins to accumulate again.
•
HOLD
- the meter holds totals at the current point for both
channels. The meter will not accumulate as long as the switch
remains closed. This option is typically used for calibration.
7.
Do one of the following:
•
If MASS FLOW is ON and both channels are active (for
2-channel units only), proceed to
Selecting Mass Flow Units
on
page 2-24. Both channels must be active
•
If MASS FLOW is OFF and/or one channel is active, the meter
returns to the
Global PROGRAM
window. Go to
Procedure
Options
on page 2-24.
