Cleaning-in-place (CIP)

Introduction

This section provides general information about the CIP procedure, and provides some
general guidelines for CIP procedures. For a detailed instruction, refer to Section 6.2.3
General procedure for CIP and sanitization, on page 141.

CIP hook-up

During the CIP procedure, the column can be replaced with a bypass manifold or spool
piece.

Refer to the column instructions for column specific cleaning recommendations.
