Transport and moving of the system
Introduction
This section outlines important information that must be considered when trans-
porting ÄKTA ready XL.
For detailed information regarding transporting the transport crate and the removal
of the system from the crate, refer to ÄKTA ready XL Unpacking Instructions,
29302613.
Move the crate
Use a pallet jack or forklift with a minimum capacity to safely move and lift ÄKTA
ready XL and the crate. Refer to the shipping bills outside the crate or the
for the system weight information.
Make sure that the intended openings and apertures are large enough to allow pas-
sage of the crate when lifted from the floor for transport.
Remove the system from the
crate
This procedure requires at least three people working together. Refer to the Unpack-
ing Instructions when removing the system from the crate. In the absence of unpack-
ing instructions, follow the general unpacking instructions below.

10 mm wrench (or ratchet wrench with 10 mm socket)

Electrical TX25 screwdriver or power driver with a hexalobular TX25 bit
