BATTERY STRENGTH—When the battery power is low,
the transmitter emits a chirping sound every 4–5
seconds. (For Model 340 Plus and Model 340M Systems,
the frequency of chirping increases as the batteries
become depleted.) The onset of chirping signals
approximately 10 minutes of remaining battery power.
The chirping continues until the battery power is
completely depleted, at which time the transmitter stops
sending data.
