7.3 MDA Decoding  

 

This section provides information on configuring the SX-4000 for MDA internal decoding.

 

 

7.3.1 Requirement 

 

The following items are required for MDA internal decoding on SX-4000 Immersive Sound 

Media Server. 

 

SX-4000 Immersive Sound Media Server 

 

MDA Playback (Internal Decoder) LDM for the server's serial number 

 

MDA configuration file for the cinema the server is to be installed in 

7.3.2 Server configuration for MDA playback 

 

7.3.2.1 Setting up the server for MDA playback 

1. Use the Content Manager to ingest the 'MDA Playback (Internal Decoder)' LDM to the 

server. 

2. Change the setting for SMS -> Configuration -> Audio -> MDA decoding to 'Internal'.
