Enabling PCMCIA socket for Windows 95
The only time it should be necessary to enable the PCMCIA socket is if you have
formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 95.

Click

Settings

Control Panel
. Double-click the
System
icon and select
the
Device Manager
tab.

Click the
+
next to
PCMCIA socket
to expand the list. Double-click
PCIC or
compatible PCMCIA controller
.

dialog box under Device usage click
Disable in
this hardware profile
to clear the check box. Click
OK
