Replacing the processor fan
You need to remove the processor fan assembly to replace the processor fan
or to access system components that are behind the assembly.
To replace the processor fan:

Remove the back panel by following the instructions in “Opening the case”
on page 12 .

Slide the processor fan assembly’s release lever to the left.

Swing the top part of the fan assembly away from the computer.

Rotate the fan assembly down until it stops.
5
Unplug the fan’s power cable from the system board.
