Removing the system board
The system board is installed on a set of guide rails, and can be removed
without tools.
To remove the system board:

Turn off the system and disconnect the power cord, modem cord (if
installed), and all external peripheral devices.

Open the case (see “Opening the case” on page 17) and remove the
chassis cover (see “To remove the chassis cover:” on page 17), observing
the “Static electricity precautions” on page 15.

Remove the chassis side panel by lifting up on both plastic release tabs
on the outside of the chassis.
