Installing Software and Drivers
Installing software and drivers is usually specific to the operating system
you run on the system. However, some tips on installing drivers or other
software in critical situations or under particular circumstances are provided
below.
Installing the USB Driver
To use a USB device, you must install the USB driver in a computer
running Windows 95. A 3.5-inch disk labeled “Integrated Controller UATA
files for Win 95” was shipped with your computer. You must use this disk
to install the USB driver.
1.
Start the computer.

Put the 3.5-inch disk labeled “Integrated Controller UATA files for
Win 95” into the disk drive.
3.
Open the Readme.1st file and follow the instructions on screen.
After you have installed the USB driver, you can install the USB device by
connecting it to a USB port on the rear cover. You may also need to install
software that came with the device. Check the device documentation for
additional information.
