Using the BIOS Setup Utility
Setting the system board jumpers
The system board has three jumpers. Each of these jumpers has a specific
function described in the sections below.
The CMOS Clear jumper
The CMOS Clear jumper on the system board (pins 1 through 3 of jumper
J9F2) lets you clear all BIOS Setup settings, protect them, or place them under
control of the BMC. (See the figure on page 6 for the location of the jumper.)
The following table shows the settings required to perform those tasks. Make
sure you turn off the computer and unplug the power cord before moving
the jumper.

Caution
Moving the jumper while the power is on can damage your
computer. Always turn off the computer and unplug the
power cord(s) from the computer before changing the
jumper.
