If all components are displayed, concentration alarm is notified by the result
background of the component displayed in red colour.

Range values can be modified only from File → Edit Application, selecting the
component in the list and clicking Edit Selected. Click on the range value to be
modified. Use the “built in” keyboard to update the new range value. Click Ok
when done editing.

If Bluetooth communication is used in between analyser
and PDA, some measurement errors can appear during
measurement. This occurs more likely when the PDA is
far from the analyser or the Timer parameter in the
CALCMETLITE.INI file is not set properly. Approaching
the PDA close to the analyser or increasing the Timer
parameter solves this issue.

A good indication of how good the analysis is and how good the results are is the
residual value. In successful measurements, the residual value must be below
0.01 in the absorbance scale, and for precise measurements even better. If
there are any clear spectral structures, or the base line is tilted, try to include
some possibly missing components to the analysis and analyze the sample
again to get better results. Sometimes it also may be necessary to measure the
background again to get better results.
6.4.9 Emailing Results and Spectra
For emailing the results, the following settings on the PDA and Calcmet Lite have to be
set:
- WLAN must be turned on and properly logged on to an existing WLAN network.
Please refer to the Windows Mobile documentation on how to configure WLAN
communications on the PDA. Connection can be verified using the Internet
explorer program found on the PDA.
- The correct SMTP and email addresses have to be set from Settings → E-mail
- The latest results can be sent immediately from Settings → E-mail by pressing
the button ‘Send last spectrum and results by e-mail’ or by setting the ‘Ask to
send e-mail when residual alarm’ option. In the latter case, the user is prompted
to send an e-mail when a residual alarm occurs after analysis.
