Switch Settings
In order for the ASTRA to communicate to the TopKAT via RS-485, the switches on the
ASTRA CPU must be set as follows:

Port Communication Wiring
The following diagrams show the pin-to-pin layout of the possible wiring schemes for the
TopKAT ports. Each port may be wired for any of the wiring schemes provided the
installation requirements are met as outlined in
“Communication Requirements” on page 17
.

Note: In the TopKAT, the green connector goes to P4 on the communication board for port 2
and P6 for port 3. The K1 & K2 jumper for the port being used should be set to RS-232.
