Setting the minimum altitude alert:
1)
From the 'ADI' Page, open the menu and select ADI Options > Minimums .
2) Enable the Altitude Minimum Bug Button.
3)
Set the altitude source using the Alt Min Source Datafield (barometric or radio altitude).
4) Set the minimum altitude using Alt Min Value Datafield.
2.3 ABNORMAL OPERATIONS
NOTE: Interference from GPS repeaters operating inside nearby hangars can cause an
intermittent loss of attitude and heading displays while the aircraft is on the ground.
Moving the aircraft more than 100 yards away from the source of the interference
should alleviate the condition.
ABNORMAL GPS CONDITIONS
If an external GPS navigator fails, the MFI will use the other external GPS navigator (if
equipped) as a position source. Should all external GPS sources fail, the MFI will use its
internal VFR-only GPS. When using the VFR GPS, a "VFR GPS is being used" System Message
is generated. Should all GPS sources, including the internal VFR GPS fail, "No GPS POS" is
annunciated. See the Navigation Section for details.
COMPARATOR ANNUNCIATIONS
Critical values generated by redundant sensors are monitored by comparators. Comparator
annunciations appear by the relevant indicator. If differences in the sensors exceed a specified
amount, a miscompare annunciation appears as an amber caution. If one or more of the
sensed values are unavailable, a no compare is annunciated as a white advisory.
