Loading a departure into the active flight plan using the GDU Controller:
1)
Press the
PROC
Key. The Procedures Window is displayed.
2)
Highlight ‘SELECT DEPARTURE’.
3)
Press the
ENT
Key or the small
PFD
Knob. The Select Departure Window is displayed.
4)
Use the
PFD
Knob to select an airport and press the
ENT
Key or the small
PFD
Knob.
5)
Select a departure from the list and press the
ENT
Key or the small
PFD
Knob.
6)
Select a runway (if required) and press the
ENT
Key or the small
PFD
Knob.
7)
Select a transition (if required) and press the
ENT
Key or the small
PFD
Knob. ‘LOAD?’ is highlighted.
8)
Press the
ENT

Knob to load the departure procedure.
