Turn the small FMS Knob to select the ‘Map - Weather Data Link (XM, FIS-B, or CNXT)’
Page. The currently selected data link weather source appears in the page title.
3) If the page title does not contain the desired weather source, press the MENU Key.
a) Turn the FMS Knob to highlight ‘Display XM Weather’, or ‘Display Connext Weather’
(choices may vary depending on the installed equipment).
b) Press the
ENT
Key.
Viewing legends for displayed weather products on the Weather data Link Page:
1)
Select the ‘Map -Weather Data Link’ Page.
2)
Press the Legend Softkey to display the legends for the displayed weather products.
or
:
a) Press the MENU Key.
b) Select ‘Weather Legend’ and press the
ENT
Key.
3)
Turn the FMS Knob to scroll through the legends if more are available than fit in the
window.
4)
To remove the Weather Legends Window, press the Legend Softkey, the ENT or the CLR
Key, or press the FMS Knob.
Customizing the Weather data Link Page
Setting up and customizing the Weather data Link Page:
1)
Select the ‘Map - Weather Data Link’ Page.
2)
Press the MENU Key.
3)
Turn the FMS Knob to highlight ‘Weather Setup’, then press the ENT Key.
4) Turn the small FMS Knob to select ‘Product Group 1’ or ‘Product Group 2’, and press the
ENT Key.
5) Turn the large
FMS
Knob or press the
ENT
Key to scroll through product selections.
6)
Turn the small FMS Knob to scroll through options for each product (On/Off, range
settings, etc.).
7)
Press the ENT Key to select an option.
8) Press the FMS Knob or CLR Key to return to the ‘Map - Weather Data Link’ Page with the
changed settings.
Restoring default Weather data Link Page settings:
1)
Select the 'Map - Weather Data Link' Page.
2) Press the MENU Key.
3) Turn the FMS Knob to highlight ‘Weather Setup’, then press the
ENT
Key.
4)
Press the MENU Key.
5)
Highlight the desired default(s) to restore (all or for selection) and press ENT Key.
6) When finished, press the FMS Knob or press the CLR Key.
