3.1.13.6 VERTICAL NAVIGATION MODE (VNV)
NOTE:
If another vertical mode is touched while VNV Mode is selected, VNV
Mode reverts to armed.
NOTE:
Pressing the CWS Button (if equipped) while VNV Mode is active does
not cancel the mode. The autopilot guides the aircraft back to the descent
path upon release of the CWS Button.
Vertical Navigation (VNV) Mode is available for enroute/terminal cruise and descent
operations any time that VNAV input data is being received.
