3. Turn the
SMALL
knob to choose the type of editing
you want to do. The flashing selection will ask you
to choose between Ins (Insert), Chg (Change), or
Del (Delete). The TO waypoint can also be placed
on Hold. Press
ENTER
when you have selected the
editing option. When a waypoint is deleted, its
position will be replaced by dashes. The Chg and
Ins choices will allow you to select a new waypoint
as used in the previous examples.
Placing the TO Waypoint on Hold
1. Press
SEL
and move to the TO designation with the
LARGE
knob. You can also place the TO waypoint
on hold by pressing the external
WPT SEQ
(or
GPS/SEQ
) button, when it is installed. You can also
place a waypoint on Hold in the Flight Plan or
FROM/TO/NEXT functions. The HOLD
annunciator will light when it is installed to indicate
that automatic waypoint sequencing is suspended.
