4. Operation
WARNING
Handling liquids hazardous to health
Risk of injury when spraying liquids hazardous to health and to the environment, exceeding the
maximum filling quantity or using a device that is leaking.
» Maintain the pressure sprayer in good condition; check it for leaktightness before use.
» Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity.
» Comply with the liquid concentration specified by the manufacturer or stated on the safety data
sheet.
» Fill the pressure sprayer only with spray liquids to which it is resistant.
» Select protective equipment as stated on the safety data sheet for the spray liquid.
» Where clothing has come in contact with chemicals, clean or dispose of it as stated on the safety
data sheet.
» After using the pressure sprayer, wash your hands and all exposed areas of skin.
4.1. FILLING THE PRESSURE SPRAYER

1. Unscrew the spray head anticlockwise and pull it away from the liquid container.
2. Fill the liquid container with a suitable liquid up to the marked maximum filling level.
3. Screw the spray head anticlockwise on to the liquid container.
4.2. USING THE PRESSURE SPRAYER

Hold the pressure sprayer upright.
1. If the pressure sprayer is filled to the maximum, press the pump button approx. 15 times.
» This generates a pressure of approx. 3 bar.
2. If the fill level is lower, press the button more times.
3. To apply the liquid, press the application button.
4. At the end of the spraying operation, twist the safety valve to fully release the pressure.
5. Cleaning
Before cleaning, fully release the pressure, then unscrew the spray head. Comply with the instruc-
tions in the sections
.
Comply with the cleaning and quantity instructions issued by the manufacturer of the activated
carbon.
Fill the liquid container with activated carbon, and clean it by performing spray applications.
After the liquid container has been cleaned, rinse it and the spray nozzle with water.
Allow it and the unscrewed spray head to dry at room temperature.
6. Storage
Clean the pressure sprayer before placing it in storage. Do not store the pressure sprayer close to
sources of heat. Store at temperatures b5 °C and +35 °C.
