4.3. INITIAL COMMISSIONING

1. Fully charge the battery.
2. Insert the battery into the workbench.
3. Press the power switch on the control handle.
» The control system is initialised.
» The system LED lights up yellow.
» The control system is now in the installation position operating mode.
4. Turn the drive switch forwards to the stop and hold it there.
» After two seconds the drive unit will boot up.
5. Release the drive switch.
» The drive switch will automatically revert to the central position.
» The system LED lights up green.
» The workbench is now ready for use.
5. Operation
WARNING
Lack of braking provision
Risk of injury due to being run over because of lack of braking provision on the drive unit.
» Once the drive switch is released the workbench continues to roll forwards under its own mo-
mentum.
» Use the drive unit only for propulsion purposes, not for braking.
» Before starting work, apply the parking brakes on the castors.
» Do not use the workbench in areas where the floor slopes upwards or downwards.
WARNING
Rotating parts
Crush hazard by parts of the body being pulled in or run over when moving the workbench.
» Do not reach into rotating parts.
» Do not wear any loose jewellery.
» Wear safety shoes and safety gloves.
» Wear close-fitting clothing.
» Keep long hair contained within a hair net.
