2.1. SYMBOLS AND MEANS OF REPRESENTATION

CAUTION
Indicates a hazard which if not avoided may lead to minor or mod-

Indicates a hazard which if not avoided may lead to damage to
property.

2.2. EXPLANATION OF TERMS
The term “battery” used in this instruction manual refers to the lithium ion battery supplied.
3. Safety
3.1. FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3.1.1. Avoiding the risk of fatal injuries
Electric current Fatal injuries due to incorrectly connected control system
and drive unit.
» Before starting any maintenance work, remove the
battery from the workbench.
» Maintenance of the drive unit, control system and bat-
tery may be performed only by an electrician.
» If the connection cables are damaged, do not con-
tinue to use the workbench.
» Use only the battery supplied.
» Insert the connection plugs only into the appropriate
connection sockets.
