1 Introduction
1.1 IIDTool objectives
The IIDTool was designed to achieve four objectives in order to meet the demands of Land Rover and
Jaguar owners for autonomy in their efforts.
• Diagnose mechanical problems or malfunctions resulting from electrical / electronic problems
• Participate in the repair process to be more efficient and timely
• Customize certain vehicle components
• Administer ECUs of the vehicle, including updating

The IIDTool is not a repair tool, but can help identify the cause of a problem. Achieving the
Objectives is done by using IIDTool functions (
