On-Screen Display
With the On-Screen Display (OSD), you can operate and configure the KVM switch.
Opening the On-Screen Display
Pressing
Num
(default:
Ctrl+Num
) opens the OSD of the KVM switch. The
OSD is now displayed at the console monitor.
However, you can also adjust the settings in the KVM switch to open the OSD by
pressing
Ctrl
or
twice (see page 39).
Layout of the On-Screen Display
The menus of the On-Screen Display comprise three main parts.
The
Header
shows the name of the current menu.
The
List field
displays the computers to be accessed or the menu entries of the cur-
rently opened menu.
The
Footer
shows the keys to operate the menu that is currently displayed.
ADVICE:
You can also open the OSD by using the mouse keys

»IntelliMouse Explorer« from Microsoft or a compatible mouse (see page 35).
