Resetting the defaults
This function resets the defaults of the KVM switch. After you perform the function,
all defaults are active again.
How to reset the defaults:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(standard) to open the On-Screen Display.
2. Press
F1
to open the menu.
3. Use the
Arrow keys
to select
System Config
and press
Enter
.
4. Use the
Arrow keys
to select
Set System Defaults
and press
Enter
.
5. Press
Esc
to cancel the function or
Space
to reset the defaults.
Reinitialising USB input devices
After connecting a USB keyboard or mouse to the KVM switch, the input devices
are initialised and can be used immediately.
Some USB input devices require a reinitialisation of the USB connection. For this
case, automatic reinitialisation of the USB input devices is activated at the factory.
How to enable/disable the reinitialisation of USB devices:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(standard) to open the On-Screen Display.
2. Press
F1
to open the menu.
3. Use the
Arrow keys
to select
System Config
and press
Enter
.
4. Use the
Arrow keys
to select
USB Refresh
, and press
Space
to select one of the fol-
lowing options:

F1
to save your settings.
Faulty devices:
The status of USB devices is monitored. If the communica-
tion with a USB devices is interrupted, the device is reini-
tialised (
default
).
Off:
The connected USB input devices do not need to be reini-
tialised.
All devices:
All USB devices are regularly reinitialised.
