Deleting a user group
How to delete a user group:
1. Open the on-screen display by pressing the hotkey
Ctrl+Num
(default).
2. Press
F11
to open the
Configuration
menu.
3. Select the row
User groups
and press
Enter
.
4. Select the user group you want to delete and press
F4
.
5. Select the entry
Yes
from the security prompt and press
Enter
.
Rights of a user account
»Superuser« right
The
superuser
right allows a user unlimited access to the configuration of the KVM
switch.
How to change the
superuser
right
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F11
to open the
Configuration
menu.
3. If you want to change this right of a user account, select the row
Users
. To change
this right for a user group, select the row
User groups
.
4. Press
Enter
.
5. Select the user account or user group whose
superuser
right you want to change
and press
F5
.
6. Select the row
Superuser right
and press
F8
to select one of the following options:

F2
to save your settings.
NOTE:
Information on user rights that have been assigned before are still stored
when the
superuser
right is activated. After withdrawing the right, the stored rights
apply again.
No:
Access rights according to user and group rights
Yes:
Unlimited access to the KVM switch
