Switching via step keys
As an alternative to using
select keys
for switching to one of the channels connected to
the KVM switch (see previous paragraph), you can use
step keys
to switch the chan-
nels in ascending or descending order.
How to use step keys to switch to a particular channel:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Press
F9
to call up the
Operation
menu.
3. Press the speed button
C
or use the
arrow keys
to go to
Stepscan
and press
Enter
.
4. Use the configured step keys (see page 43) to switch one channel up or one chan-
nel down.
How to stop the Stepscan function:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
This stops the
Stepscan
function.
ADVICE:
As an alternative to the Step Key function in the OSD described below,
you can switch between channels by pressing
Step key »forward«
or
Hot-
key+Step key »back«
outside
of the OSD.
ADVICE:
After calling up the on-screen display, you can activate the Stepscan
function in the Select menu with the key combination
Ctrl+C
NOTE:
By default, the step keys
Up
and
Down
are active.
