Introduction
By using two signal extenders of the
Audio-Transceiver-Fiber
series, you can transmit
audio signals between a computer and a remote console via fiber optic connection.
Audio signals are transmitted in both directions between the connected extenders.
A rotary switch lets you amplify the analogue audio signal coming in at the interface
Line In/Micro In
(see page 7).

NOTE:
Signal extenders of the
Audio-Transceiver-Fiber
series are provided in
two variants:
Audio-Transceiver-Fiber(S)
transmits signals via single-mode optical fibers
over distances up to 10 kilometers.
Audio-Transceiver-Fiber(M)
transmits signals via multi-mode optical fibers
over distances up to 550 meters.
IMPORTANT:
Transmitting audio signals requires
two
signal extenders. The package
contents given below refer to one device.
NOTE:
The variant
Audio-Transceiver-Fiber-ANALOG
does
not
provide any
digital audio
interfaces. Therefore the package contents do not include any RCA audio cables.
