Using the DMX+Art-Net or DMX+sACN Modes:
The DMX+Art-Net or DMX+sACN modes allow you to use the Torrent 760 with a lighting
console for the control and movement channels, while using a separate pixel mapper for
the pixel control. This can offer advantages in some situations!
When you set the fixture into the DMX+ArtNet or DMX+sACN Modes, channels 1-9 will
be controlled via DMX and channels 10 through the end of whichever profile you are
using will be controlled via network.
Once you put the Torrent 760 into one of the “DMX+” modes, you will be presented with
a “Base address” and “Pixel address” in the address menu. Set these as you wish to
control them, in the default channel modes, setting the pixel address 9 channels higher
than the base is typically the desired outcome. The base and pixel start addresses will be
on the same universe.

Patching/Pixel Mapping Guidelines:
The Torrent 760 offers full pixel control of both the
main output pixels (1-7)
and the
backlight pixels (8-35)
. It’s essentially 2 fixtures in one from a control standpoint. For
ease of use, the DMX layout is arranged to help lighting consoles separate the parts as
desired. The pixels are arranged in a grid pattern as illustrated below:
