Basic System Module (BSM)
3.7.3 Printer Transient Module (PTRM)
The Printer Transient Module (PTRM) provides sufficient transient protection to the RS-232 output
to comply with the applicable codes for the following conditions:
•
wiring leaving the confines of the control box
•
proper isolation of the signal to prevent damage or interference caused by a connection to
certain EDP devices.
