Connections for the two parallel communication cables when two or more Centric 480 UPS’s are
being operated in parallel configuration.. Note that all parallel communication cables (the 25-pin
cables) must be housed in appropriate conduits.

EPO AND PARALLEL OPERATION
An EPO switch can also be used If you intend to operate multiple Centric units in parallel. An external n-
pole / N.O. EPO switch may be connected according to the connection schematic. EPO disconnection of
the parallel units
MUST BE SIMULTANEOUS!
EPO wiring and switch rating must be 5 A / 230 Vac.
