CHECK AND ADJUST COOLING FAN BELT TENSION

Checking

If deflection amount "a" shows approx. 8 mm (0.3 in) when the belt
is pressed with a thumb of approx. 58.8 N (6 kgf) force at the
midpoint between the alternator pulley and the fan pulley, then it is
the standard deflection amount.
