Operating the appliance

Note: 

Switch on the extractor hood when you start 

cooking and switch it off again several minutes after you 
have finished cooking. This is the most effective way of 
removing the kitchen fumes.

Setting the fan

Note: 

Always adjust the fan strength to meet current 

conditions. If there is a large build-up of steam or fumes, 
select a high fan setting.

Switching on the appliance

The fan starts at level 2.

 button to set the 

corresponding fan level.

Switching off the appliance

Intensive setting

You can use the intensive setting if there is a large build-
up of odours and fumes/vapours.

The fan starts at level 2.

The intensive setting is activated. The ventilation 
system switches back to level 2 after 4 hours.

Note: 

If you press the

 button while the fan is 

running at level 1, 2 or 3, the electronics 
automatically switch back to the previously selected 
fan level after 4 hours.

Switching off intensive setting:

Press the

 button to switch back to level 2,

or
press the 1, 2, or 3 button to switch back to level 1, 
2 or 3,
or
press the

 button to switch the ventilation off.

Fan run-on time

You can activate the fan run-on for every fan level.

The run-on time for all fan levels is 6 minutes. Once 
this time has elapsed, the ventilation switches off 
automatically. If the lighting is switched on, it 
remains on once the run-on time has elapsed.

level.
The fan run-on ends before the remaining run-on 
time elapses.

Interval ventilation

With interval ventilation, the ventilation switches on 
automatically for 6 minutes every hour.

The fan starts at level 2.

The

 button and the button for the selected fan 

level flash alternately. The interval ventilation is 
switched on.

If desired, press the 1 or 3 button to set the 
corresponding fan level.
