Your new appliance and its accessories are described in
this section.
Hob extractor system
Notes
‒ The VL 414 hob extractor system can only be
operated in conjunction with the AA 490 110/
111 control knob. Two VL 414 ventilation elements
can be connected to the AA 490 110/111.
‒ The settings applied to the controls are also
applied to each of the open ventilation elements:
If you set the control knob to setting 1, all the open
ventilation elements will also be operated at
setting 1.
‒ The positioning plate should be used to correctly
position the grease filter when air is evacuated via
an outlet/outlets to the side(s).Place the
positioning plate in the ventilation element such
that the bend in the middle is facing the air outlet.
Then place the grease filter onto the positioning
plate.
‒ If air is evacuated downwards, place the grease
filter into the ventilation element without the
positioning plate. It does not matter which way
round the grease filter is.
Control knob
Use the control knob to select the fan speed.
