4. Operating System and Equipment
Protection Functions
Continuous pinch protection
–
During
two
closing
processes,
the
automatically opening/closing function will fail
if pinch protection is triggered three
consecutive times, and will be restored after
manual full closing.
Thermal protection
–
The automatically opening/closing function will
fail if thermal protection is activated due to
overheat motor after it works continuously for
a period of time, and will be restored after a
while.
Conditions for failure of automatically
opening/closing function
–
If the battery cable is disconnected with the
hatchback door not fully closed, the hatchback
door position will be lost and the automatically
opening/closing function will fail. The function
will be restored after the hatchback door is
fully closed manually.
–
In the process of ignition, there is no response
to the request of automatically opening/closing
hatchback door signal.
Automatic Opening of Hatchback Door*
–
With the Start-Stop switch at "OFF" and the
four doors and hatchback door closed, if the
user carrying the smart key is approximately
0.5m from the hatchback door, i.e. within the
sensing area, the hatchback door will open
automatically 3.2s after the user stays still or
takes a step back.
Hint
•
To remind you that the hatchback door opens
automatically, the horn sounds once, the high
brake lights flicker 4 times, and the turn
signals flicker twice.
•
If within the period in which the high brake
light flickers you leave the hatchback door
sensing area or short press
on the smart
key button, it can pause the automatic
opening function. To deactivate the function
by short pressing the
button on the smart
key, either front door should open and then
close to reactivate the easy open function of
hatchback door.
•
Activate or deactivate the easy open function
of hatchback door via "Vehicle Setting →
Smart Body → Easy Open of Hatchback
Door" in the audio system.
