2.6 Charger Unit (BC-6158-SS/6200)
According to the battery used, set the output voltage of the charger unit to 26.7 VDC
(default setting, for a valve-regulated lead-acid battery) or 28 VDC. For a flooded lead-
acid battery, change the output voltage from 26.7 VDC to 28 VDC.
1. Loosen four screws to remove the front panel of the charger unit, referring to at
step 1 of paragraph 1.11.2.
2. Draw out the charger unit, then set the toggle switch to 28 VDC. The toggle switch
(S1) is on the 05P0659 board located on the side of the charger unit.
3. Reinsert the charger unit.
4. Check the “SS (TICK)” checkbox.
5. At the rear of the control panel, remove four screws on the 05P0607 board to re-
move the board.
