How to Set, Show and Hide Alarms
The FCV-38 has five alarms, Bottom Alarm, Fish Alarm, Bottom Fish Alarm, Tempera-
ture Alarm, and Fish Size Alarm.
When an alarm is set and the conditions meet the alarm requirements, the system re-
leases an audible beep and the applicable alarm icon appears at the bottom-right cor-
ner.
To silence the audible beep, click anywhere on the screen. The alarm icon remains
visible on the display until the cause of the alarm is removed.
Alarm descriptions

Bottom Alarm
: Alerts you when the seabed (bottom) enters the range set for this
alarm.
•
Fish Alarm
: Alerts you when fish are detected within the range set for this alarm.
•
Bottom Fish Alarm
: Alerts you when fish are detected within the range set for this
alarm.
•
Temperature Alarm
: Alerts you when the water temperature is within range or out
of range, depending on your selection. This alarm requires water temperature data.

Fish Size Alarm
: Alerts you when a fish on the selected fish size bar When the se-
lected fish size graph bar is 1st peak, and a fish is detected that meets or exceeds
the size and/or distribution of 1st peak on the fish size graph bar. The fish size graph
must be active to use this alarm.
