6.7.1

How to run the maintenance information test

If you feel the system is not working properly, you can run the maintenance informa-
tion test to locate the possible source of the trouble. The test shows the operational 
status of connected equipment, checks the status of the RAM and ROM, and displays 
software versions for your equipment.

To run the test, click [Maintenance Information] from the [Tests] menu. The test results 
appear in a similar fashion to that shown below.

If the indication "NG" appears for any item, consult your dealer for service.

To close the test results, click the [Close Window] icon ( ) at the top-right corner of 
the window.

Communication port monitor

The [Communication Port Monitor] shows the incoming data for each communication 
port in the Processor Unit. To access the [Communication Port Monitor], click [Com-
munication Port Monitor] from the [Tests] menu.
