Basic rules for operation
When operating your handset, certain functions are used frequently. Be famil-
iar with these functions.
Switching on the handset
The handset is off; give the key H
OOK ON
a long keystroke.
Switching off the handset
Your handset is in the general mode (idle display). Give the key H
OOK ON
a
long keystroke.
Left and right softkey .
The function of the softkeys changes according to the situation. The function
always appears in the display above the key, e.g.
[
Menu
]
or
[
Clear (Ring off)
]
or
[
Options
] ...
The
RIGHT SOFTKEY
serves to call up the function shown above the softkey, e.g.
to call up the main menu.
The
LEFT SOFTKEY
serves to call up the function shown above the softkey, e.g.
to disconnect a connection, to call up further options or to return to previous
notifications.
When you are in a menu and give the
LEFT SOFTKEY LINK
a long keystroke, the
handset passes into normal mode (idle display).
