Disposing of old phones
The waste container symbol with the "X" through it on the device indicates that the
device must be disposed of separately from normal domestic waste at an appropri-
ate waste disposal facility at the end of its useful service life.
When it comes time to part with your old DECT80, take it to the local recycling center in or near
your community. This symbol means that the old phone may not be put with normal domestic
waste. In accordance with the law governing the disposal of old electric and electronic equipment,
owners of old devices are legally bound to dispose of these devices separately from other house-
hold waste. Think about the environment and help protect it by not throwing your old phone in the
trash!
